Dr. Thomas Friedemann

Dr. Thomas Friedemann is a biologist and biophysicist specializing in traditional Chinese medicine, medicinal plant research, and neurobiology. He has been working at the HanseMerkur Center for TCM at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf since 2010 and currently serves as its deputy director. He is also CEO of ConPhyMed Pharmaceutical. He has conducted research at the University of Hamburg, Fudan University in Shanghai, and Goethe University Frankfurt. As an expert in medicinal plants and international quality standards, he is active in research, teaching, and standardization (ISO TC249).
