Dr. Georges Favraud
Dr. Georges Favraud, Founder and Director of the Institute of Chinese Bodily Arts (INACC), Georges is both a doctor in anthropology and a teacher of daoyin and internal martial arts in Toulouse (South-West of France). A practitioner since childhood, Georges spent seven years in China studying with Daoist masters. He conducts anthropological research on embodied knowledge, cultural heritage and social change, and regularly intervenes in France and abroad. Georges is a “health and well-being” expert for the French Wushu Federation (AFWK), a member of the Standing Committee of the International Conferences on Daoist Studies, and a research associate with centers of the French national center for scientific research (CNRS), the National institute of Oriental languages and civilizations (INALCO) and Toulouse Jean Jaurès University.
