Dr. Georges Favraud

Founder and President of the Institute of Chinese Bodily Arts (INACC), Georges is both a doctor in anthropology and a teacher of daoyin and internal martial arts in Toulouse (France).

A practitioner since childhood, Georges spent seven years in China studying with Taoist masters. He conducts anthropological researches on embodied knowledge, cultural heritage and social change, and regularly intervenes in France and abroad. Georges is a “health and well-being” expert for the French Wushu Federation (AFWK), a member of the Standing Committee of the International Conferences on Daoist Studies and a consultant for ITI-UNESCO on Performing arts.
